RAVEN: RECORD LABEL

The Raven: label was founded in 2008. We use it actively promote, press and release music we really care about - that of Birmingham and the Black Country.
We place our bands, and those others that use the studio / rehearsal rooms / photo studio etc, that we love with hard copy, digital distribution, local gigging agents. We provide press releases and get bands onto local radio, internet radio and BBC radio.
We are chart eligible and PPL and PRS registered.
Since recording and releasing with Raven: the Cubans sold out the Little Civic and headlined at the Wulfrun Hall in Wolverhampton, while Skull Fox landed in management with undoubtedly Birmingham's best management in Ovation Music (hi Hils :o)) after walking out the door with their superb Bloodshed Rendered E.P.
Our newest venture (released March 2010) is a single and then E.P. release with Discotheque Wreck - who are Birmingham's fizziest indie-pop band and the brightest band on the West Midlands live circuit.
We created the RAVEN: label to complete our transition into a full-blown music and video production house. Musoplex now has the skills and experience to handle pretty much any aspect of music production along the whole length of the process - rehearsals, professional recording, photogrpahy, videography, label and promotion are now all handled in-house.
Our first releases were from The Cubans with superb 2-off AA singles and a remastered album. Hot on its heels came a new EP from Skullfox...METAL....VERY METAL.....:o).
The Cubans release generated fantastic interest with an interview with the band and Si Reeves as well as videos played on Central TV in the week's build up to the release gig at The Varsity in Wolverhampton.
Central TV were kind enough to edit 2 videos for the boys that were put together by Pete Rhead and John Czerepaninec on the production stage at Musoplex.
As a business we are all concerned with the promotion and improvement of all the bands that use us and love what we do. We will look to release more throughout 2010.
